Juwon Yu

Juwon is currently an 8th-grade student at Sam H. Lawson Middle School. He has been playing the cello since 5th grade and currently studies under the tutelage of Bobae Lee. He is a member of the Sam H. Lawson Middle School Chamber Orchestra, where he served as a section leader during the 2024–2025 academic year. Juwon was also a member of the California Youth Symphony (CYS). He has received awards from the 2025 KAMSA Competition and the 2024 Silicon Valley Music Competition, and was honored with the Outstanding Orchestra Student Award at his school for the 2023–2024 academic year. Outside of music, Juwon enjoys playing golf and tennis with his friends.
Isaac Kil

Isaac Kil is an eighth grader at Dartmouth Middle School and has been playing the clarinet for two years. Though still early in his journey, playing the clarinet has brought Isaac tremendous joy and a lasting sense of meaning. At school, he currently serves as principal clarinet in DMS Symphonic Band and also participates in both the Jazz Band and Concert Band to further explore his passion for music.
Isaac was a member of the California Youth Symphony Wind Ensemble for the 2024–2025 season. He also participated in the CMEA Festival, Northern California section as he earned a superior rating, where he was awarded a gold medal for his performance. In addition to music, Isaac enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with his two cats.
Ryan Kim

Ryan Kim is an eight-grade student at Joaquin Miller Middle School. He has been playing the cello since his elementary years. He has been a member of Golden State Youth Orchestra (GSYO) for three years, and now performs in Galbraith Honor Strings. Beyond his musical pursuits, Ryan is an active member at the local swim team and enjoys swimming as a way to unwind. He also loves mathematics, and for two consecutive years has won the gold pins in Math Olympiads (MOEMS) and scored high in AMC. Ryan has also played the piano in elementary school and the clarinet in his middle school's band program. He also loves reading and cooking in his free time.
Robyn Park

Robyn Park is an 8th grader at Dartmouth Middle School, where she plays clarinet in the Symphonic and Concert Bands and serves as Drum Major on the Band Leadership Team. In 2025, she was selected to participate in the CASMEC All-State Honor Band and placed second in the Silicon Valley Music Competition. She currently performs with the CPYO Associate Orchestra. In addition to her instrumental work, she was selected for the 2024 CMEA Honor Ensemble Choir and has played multiple leading roles in several musical theater productions.
