Amber Wee

Amber Wee is currently a junior at Harker High School and she has been playing clarinet since she was in sixth grade. Before playing the clarinet, she played piano for seven years and was also first clarinet in the 2024 CASMEC All-State Symphonic Band. She won second place in the American Protégé Romantic Music competition and won first place in competitions such as the 2024 Charleston International, 2024 SF International Romantic Music competition, and 2024 US International Open Music Competition. She currently does Hopebox Youth Orchestra alongside Sky. She has been a member of the CPYO senior orchestra for two years and plays first clarinet. Aside from clarinet, she enjoys DECA, musical theater, writing, and hanging out with her friends.

Minkyul Kim is currently a junior at Bellarmine College Preparatory. He has played piano for around a decade and violin for seven years. He achieved state honors in Advanced Level CM for piano, and has played with KAMSA and/or Hop3box over the last three years. Also, he participates in speech & debate at Bellarmine, competing in international extemporaneous speech and policy debate. He also enjoys math participating in the AMC system as well as other regional tournaments.

Subin Kim

Subin Kim is a junior at Archbishop Mitty High School. She serves as a section leader in her school’s Wind Ensemble and is also a clarinetist in the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra. She was selected as a member of the California All-State Honor Band in 2023, 2024, and 2025. She attended the Clarinet Workshop at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute in 2025 and participated in its Woodwind Quintet Workshop in 2026. Subin has won first place in the American Protégé International Music Competition, U.S. International Open Music Competition, and Charleston International Music Competition. Outside of the clarinet, she enjoys reading novels, creative writing, and playing golf.
Brenden Morrow

Brenden Morrow is a Junior at Los Altos High School. He started playing clarinet when he was ten years old, after learning piano for three years. Brenden is a member of the California Youth Symphony’s Wind Symphony and plays at his school's Symphonic Band. Outside of music, Brenden is a competitive fencer and is part of Silicon Valley Fencing Center, where he started 5 years ago. He has placed within the top 8 in many tournaments, including 7th at the 2022 USA Summer National tournament. In his free time, Brenden enjoys listening to classical music and baking.
