Esther Moon is a sophomore at Branham High School. She has been playing the clarinet for three years and is a member of both the high school wind ensemble and marching band. Prior to joining the school band in seventh grade, she played the cello from the age of six. Esther participated in the 2023 CASMEC All-State Honor Band and won first place at the 2023 San Francisco International Innovative Music Competition. She was also awarded first place at the US International Open Music Competition in the Chamber Ensemble category. She is currently a member of the CPYO Senior Orchestra. Aside from music, she enjoys figure skating and crocheting.

Brenden Morrow is a sophomore at Bellarmine College Preparatory. He started playing clarinet when he was ten years old, after learning piano for three years. Brenden is a member of the California Youth Symphony’s Wind Symphony and plays at his school's Symphonic Band. Outside of music, Brenden is a competitive fencer and is part of Silicon Valley Fencing Center, where he started 5 years ago. He has placed within the top 8 in many tournaments, including 7th at the 2022 USA Summer National tournament. In his free time, Brenden enjoys listening to classical music and baking.

Currently a sophomore at Bellarmine College Preparatory, Joseph David Lim has
been playing piano since the age of 9. Throughout his piano career, he has been selected twice to
perform in the Junior Bach Festival in 2019 and 2022. Additionally, in 2022, he has participated
in competitions such as the American Protege Piano and Strings Competition, International
Music Competition Paris “Grand Prize Virtuoso”, and “Golden Classical Awards” International
Competition. His other achievements include the US International Open Music Competition and
the Silicon Valley Youth Music Competition. Apart from playing piano, Joseph is currently
playing soccer competitively at the National Premier League level and enjoys conquering
perplexing math problems.

Lynn Choi is a sophomore at the University Preparatory Academy. Currently playing viola in the San Jose Youth orchestra, she started with violin in elementary school and played flute in her school band. She swims competitively and enjoys crocheting.
Jay Lee

Jay Lee is a sophomore at Branham High School. He has been learning and playing the Flute for 5 years. Jay competed in many competitions in the Bay Area and won several of them. and 2nd place in the American Protégé International Competition and was invited to play at Carnegie Hall. He is a member of the Branham High School Wind Ensemble, as well as of the Avancé flute choir of San Jose Youth Symphony for 2 years. He has participated in the All Northern California Honor Band this year, and has received Superior ratings in the CMEA Solo and Ensemble festivals. Outside of music, Jay is a part of the Branham High School Tennis Varsity team. He enjoys playing tennis not only with friends but also competitive tournaments.

Claire Jung is a sophomore attending Saratoga High School. She is currently part of the symphonic band and marching band at her school. She started off with playing the cello but has switched over to the flute ever since 6th grade. On top of that, she enjoys expressing herself through many different forms of mediums and finds joy in documenting memories. In her free time she loves to talk with her friends, listen to different genres of music, and be creative.
