LAURA KIM

Laura Kim graduated from San Jose Middle College program in 2020. She currently studies with Diane Nicholeris and has previously studied with Davis Law at SFCM's Pre-College program. Laura has been a member of the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra since 2016, which regularly rehearses and performs at Davies Symphony Hall. Along with this, she has been a member of Young Chamber Musicians from 2017-18 and will be joining CalMusicPrep this upcoming fall.
In addition to these, Laura has played for acclaimed artists Zoya Lebin, Ivan Zenaty, Kevork Mardirossian, Florin Parvulescu. Helen Kim, Brinton Smith, and the Camerata RCO. She has also attended Music@Tateuchi this past summer and Meadowmount School of Music during the summer of 2017.
In her spare time, Laura likes to read books and spend time walking in nature.
SABRINA KIM

Sabrina Kim graduated from Homestead High School in 2020. Sabrina has received recognition and awards including soloing with Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra (PACO) and winning first place in the Korea Times Music Competition. She cherishes her six years of performing with the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra and is ecstatic to perform another featured concerto with PACO autumn of 2016. Sabrina has also participated in the Korean-American Music Supporters Association Youth Symphony Orchestra for the past two years. In 2016, she had the pleasure of studying with Mr. Gerardo Ribeiro at Meadowmount School of Music. Sabrina is a freshman at Homestead High School and spends her free time cooking and reading.

Sabrina Kim graduated from Saratoga High School in 2020. She began playing the cello in the third grade under Kyeonghwa Kim and currently studies with Jihee Kim. Sabrina serves as a co-principal player in her school orchestra; with this group, she has had the pleasure of touring Europe and performing at the prestigious Midwest Clinic in Chicago. Beyond engaging in her school orchestra, she has been a part of the All-State Orchestra and won 1st place in the American Fine Arts Festival (AFAF). Sabrina also spends a significant portion of her high school years volunteering as a musician through organizations such as MESH (Music Education at Saratoga High), in which she mentors elementary school students in their orchestras, and the HopeBox Charity Youth Orchestra, in which she helps raise charity money through annual benefit concerts. Alongside playing music with her friends, Sabrina enjoys exploring new trendy cafes, traveling, and shopping.
SEYON KIM

Seyon Kim graduated from Archbishop Mitty High School in 2020. She started playing the violin in second grade and currently studies with Pat Burnham. She participates in her school orchestra as concertmistress as well as the school’s pit orchestra and has been a violinist of the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra since 2017. Previously, she served as the second violin co-principal in the Senior Symphony of the El Camino Youth Symphony (now Golden State Youth Orchestra). Seyon also participated in the Korean-American Music Supporters’ Association Youth Orchestra for the past four years and the California All State Honor Orchestra. She has been recognized and awarded for her performance in competitions such as the Korea Times Competition, Music Teachers’ Association California in Santa Clara Branch, Music Teachers’ Association California Autumn Festival in Palo Alto Branch, Great Composers Competition, American Fine Arts Festival, and American Protege. She enjoys serving the community with her music as a violinist during mass at Holy Korean Martyrs Catholic Church and at the Diocese of San Jose, volunteering at AMASE, and playing music with her friends at senior homes as a member of Sky Ensemble. In her free time, Seyon enjoys cooking.
TAE WON KIM

Tae Won Kim, 15 years old, graduated from Gunn High School in 2020. He has played clarinet for 6 years currently with Tina teacher. He has joined school band and orchestra. He also played baritone- saxophone at JLS middle school band on top of clarinet.
He enjoys playing his instrument in other opportunities such as the concert at community retirement center for elders and young kids at boys and girls club which they don’t have the chance of music learning chances.
In his spare time, he enjoys watching movies and playing badminton.

Claire Lee graduated from Archbishop Mitty High School in 2020. She started playing the violin since 2nd grade and transitioned to playing the viola in 7th grade. Claire participated in the Korean-American Music Supporters Association Youth Symphony Orchestra in 2015.
She loves to dance, and she is a member of DAU and Mitty School dance team.
