ANGELA KIM

BIO

Angela Kim graduated from the Harker Upper School in 2017. She discovered her love for clarinet at age 10 and has studiously practiced since. She has been a member of Sky Ensemble (formerly known as KYDO) since 2013 and has performed at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts. She has also played in the Harker Middle School Orchestra, CYS Wind Ensemble, and the CPYO Senior Orchestra. In 2014 and 2015, she received "Superior" at the CMEA Music Festival. Aside from clarinet, Angela enjoys programming, reading, and graphic design. 

JASON MOON

Jason Moon graduated from the Menlo School in Atherton in 2017. He began violin lessons at the age of five and is currently under the tutelage of Wei He in the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College division. Jason completed his fifth season with the California Youth Symphony Senior Orchestra as co-principal of the second violin section and joined the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra in 2014, where he is currently the principal of the second violin section. He is also the concertmaster of the Menlo School Chamber Orchestra. Jason has won the USIMC, the US Open Competition, the KAMSA Competition, the Korea Times Youth Music Competition, the DVC/HNU Young Artist Competition, Peninsula Young Musician’s Competition and the SFSYO Concerto Competition and has been a prizewinner at the Nova Vista Young Artist Competition and the CMTANC. Jason has participated in the Meadowmount School of Music, Young Chamber Musicians program, California Summer Music. In the summer of 2015, Jason toured Europe with the SFSYO, playing in such halls as the Berlin Philharmonie and the Amsterdam Concertgebouw. He has worked with such musicians as Ivan Zenaty, Klara Flieder, Haik Kazazyan, Zaven Melikian, the Borromeo String Quartet, and the Escher String Quartet. His distinguished teachers include John Kraus at Bethel School of Music and Motoko Toba at Santa Clara University. In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time outdoors and consuming unhealthy amounts of caffeine.

BRYAN PARK 

BIO

Seong Wook(Bryan) Park graduated from Gunn High school in 2017 and was a scholarship student at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music PreCollege Division. He has been playing the violin since he was 7. He is also participating in the Gunn High School  Chamber Orchestra. He is currently studying with Davis Law at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Bryan has been studying with Davis Law since 2012. He won the PAUSD Music Teacher’s Scholarship Award and played in two of their concerts as concertmaster. He won the Solo Competition for the California Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. He played in the associative section of the California Philharmonic  Youth Orchestra as the concertmaster. Bryan attended Summer Music West at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He played in the Chamber Orchestra at the Conservatory in the 2013-2014  season. Bryan attended the Meadowmount School of Music during the summer of 2014. Bryan was invited to participate in the Dominican University Chamber Camp with a full scholarship. Bryan has received first place from the AFAF Romantic Music Festival. In 2016, Bryan received a full scholarship to play with the NSO Summer Institute at Kennedy Center. He has participated in masterclasses with Ivan Ženatý and Peter Wyrick. Bryan participates in the San Francisco Conservatory’s Chamber Ensemble program. He is currently the first violinist at the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra.
